How Do I Differentiate Love and Lust..?

Love encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states , from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection and to the simplest pleasure.  

An example of this range of meanings is that the love of a mother differs from the love of a spouse, which differs from the love of food. Most commonly, love refers to a feeling of strong attraction and emotional

attachment .. 

Love in a lay man language simply means a strong emotional attachment which creates a bound between two people and produces a warm feelings of contents and happiness. 

Loving a person comes with different expectations and responsibilities. As a spouse who feels emotionally attached to each other, giving your best to make the relationship work is always expected.

 An average person will feel betrayed when you cheat in a relationship. this is  because of the love bound between the couple. 

Love is considered to be positive and negative: with its virtue representing human kindness ,compassion, and affection, as "the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another"; and its vice representing human moral flaw , akin to vanity , selfishness,  and egotism, as it potentially leads people into a type of mania, obsessiveness or codependency. It may also describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals. 

 In its various forms, love acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts. Love has been postulated to be a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species .

Different Meaning of  Lust

Lust is a psychological force producing intense desire for an object, or circumstance fulfilling the emotion while already having a significant other or amount of the desired object.

 Lust can take any form such as the lust for sexuality , love, money, or power. It can take such mundane forms as the lust for food as distinct from the need for food.

According to Wiki- Encyclopedia ,  Lust is the initial passionate sexual desire that promotes mating, and involves the increased release of chemicals such as testosterone and estrogen. These effects rarely last more than a few weeks or months. 

Attraction is the more individualized and romantic desire for a specific candidate for mating, which develops out of lust as commitment to an individual mate forms.

Lust also means satisfaction of selfish desires, emotional or sexual wants. Lust comes with a great desire to quench a feeling inside an individual, lust usually occurs when we want something we can't have in a long term e.g lust for sex, money etc. 

Lust in terms of relationship affairs can occupy any persons mindset at any given time, most people don't intentionally lust after strange Men or Women but due to their past lives or psychological trauma and, fear of commitment or sexual dissatisfaction.
